STATEMENT

Through the technique of collage, I seek to create immersive narrative spaces that allow for the expression of the depths of the subconscious, focusing especially on themes related to women and matriarchy in the contemporary context.

The exploration and the selection of images and materials found, I set out to challenge myself to appropriate and resignify pre-existing visual elements. This process involves imbuing these images with new meanings and narratives, which emerge from my own interpretation and artistic perspective.

My connection with the art of collage was forged through the creation of architectural spaces by assembling my own photographs. With a background in Visual Arts cursed in FinisTerrae University, I have embarked on a diverse and exciting professional journey. From Art direction to audiovisual production, I have explored various facets of art and creativity.

As a graduate in Art Pedagogy, I have had the privilege of sharing my knowledge as a teacher, particularly in the appreciation of art and the specific techniques of collage. Additionally, my studies in Art Therapy have enriched my artistic practice, providing me with the opportunity to accompany others on their journey of emotional growth through this unique and transformative visual expression.
